Start Time:
7:30 AM - 5K Run/Walk (using unique start line on Lafayette at Cass Ave.)
This event will be held in conjunction with the marathon. It begins near the marathon start and ends at the marathon finish line. Adults and children will participate together.

- Free admission to Health & Fitness Expo
- Commemorative finisher's medal
- Finish-line refreshments

Course Description:
Our 5K Run/Walk winds through the streets of Downtown Detroit. Click for course map.
Runners and walkers of any age and/or ability are welcome to participate in the celebration of fun and fitness. After the event, please stay to cheer on the marathon runners.
Requirements:
There are no age-restrictions for this event.
All participants are required to finish the 5K Run/Walk in one hour and ten minutes (1:10:00).
