Sunday, October 17, 2010

Barring last minute changes due to unforeseen construction or other factors, the 2010 course should remain the same as 2009. To see the 2010 marathon course maps, click on one of the following:

2010 Full & Half Marathon Course Map
                2010 5K Run/Walk Course Map

PLEASE NOTE: There are several construction projects in progress along the course, notably at the bridges over the Dequindre Cut at E. Lafayette (13.5 mile mark) and E. Larned (1.6 mile mark- 5k course), and along Atwater St (24.5 mile mark). All projects are scheduled to complete before race weekend. In the event they do not, we have detours planned and ready to go. Stay tuned to our website, and the Facebook and Twitter accounts for updates.

The Detroit Free Press Marathon course is relatively  flat, with  short-range exceptions for the Ambassador Bridge and the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.
