United States Only Half-Marathon participants: 1,500
Note: Should we reach capacity before registration is over, we reserve the right to close without notice. These events do sell out, so you’ll want to take advantage of reduced rates and guaranteed participation by registering as soon as possible. Also note that on-site registration is not available for any events.
Age Restriction:
All participants of the US-Only Half-Marathon must be 16 years of age or older to participate.
The Course
Our United States Only Half-Marathon course offers will take place on the back half of the course. Participants will start at the 13.1 milestone of the Full Marathon course and finish on W. Fort St. at Second Ave., near Detroit Free Press operations.
Time Requirements
We consider our events “competitive”, and not simply as fun runs or walks. Due to time restrictions, we cannot allow walkers on the US-only Half-Marathon course. Participants of this Half-Marathon must be runners and finish within 3 hours of the start time.
Awards and Prize Money
Please note, participants of the US ONLY Half-Marathon do not qualify for any prize money or any awards.
