Start-Finish Line Location If you haven’t caught the news, the Detroit Free Press building has relocated in downtown Detroit! With this new change, we’ve lost access to much of the property around the building we occupied for many years, resulting in a new start-finish line location. The new start-finish line will be at Fort and Cass, 2 blocks east of last  year’s start-finish line. 2015 Charity Program The Detroit Free Press/Talmer Bank Marathon supports local charitable organizations centered on health and wellness. In 2014, 27 charities raised more than $2 million toward those causes, and enriched the lives of thousands of runners who chose to run for a reason. Applications for our 2015 Charity Program are now CLOSED.
