International Waiver

Participants of the Full Marathon, international half-marathon, and relay legs 1 & 2 must agree to the following waiver before They can begin the registration process. No exceptions.

I recognize that this is an international event, and that If I am in an event that crosses the U.S./Canadian border, and I am 16 years of age or older, I will need a passport, passport card or enhanced drivers license. U.S. and Canadian children participating in the 5 Person Relay ONLY under the age of 16 will be able to present the original or a copy of their birth certificate or other proof of U.S. citizenship such as a naturalization or citizenship card.

All entries are submitted to the Bureau of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Canadian Border Services, for clearance before the race. ALL participants must show up in person at the Health & Fitness Expo, and present a passport or enhanced drivers license in order to pick up race packets.

If I am not a citizen of the U.S. or Canada, other documentation may be needed.

If I am running only on U.S. soil (Relay Legs 3-5 and the 5K), I need only present photo identification when picking up my packets.

If I am registered for an international event and do not have proper documentation, I recognize that I will not be able to participate and will receive no refund.

In addition, I am aware of the possibility of my inadmissibility to Canada. I am aware that, in order to enter Canada, I may need to obtain Approval of Rehabilitation or a Temporary Resident Permit at a Canadian Consulate or Embassy. If I am considered inadmissible to Canada, I understand that I will not be able to participate and will receive no refund.
