A note about your registration if you’re registering for an international event:

If you’re registering for the Full Marathon, International Half-Marathon, Marathon Relay, The Supreme or The Wonder, please read on. If you’re registering for a domestic event (U.S.-Only Half-Marathon, 5K, 1-Mile or The Temptation), you may disregard this message!

Running through two countries is a unique and special privilege that our race and our participants cherish. Our race organizers work very closely with the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the United States’ Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) to ensure that everyone remains safe while crossing borders. After all, you will be truly crossing the border during our race!

Right now, it is not mandatory to enter your Passport or EDL number during registration. However, it is becoming increasingly important for our partner agencies to use this information to accurately identify all international participants in order to pre-clear/vet them. While this question will remain non-required, we are now encouraging everyone who registers to enter this information. Whether this means waiting to register until you get home so you can look up your passport number, waiting until your passport comes in so you have that number to enter, we encourage you to enter this information. Moreover, entering your passport number now will help for a stress-free and easy packet pick-up experience at the Health & Fitness Expo.

The more participants who enter their Passport or EDL number during registration, the happier we are and the agencies we work with. The happier they are, the longer we will get to run across borders freely. It’s no secret that in this day and age security along borders and in between countries is heightened. We ask for your help and understanding on this important matter.
