Location

The 2023 course will be on and near the east Detroit riverfront. Location and course route is subject to change, so check back here as we get closer to race weekend for the most accurate location details.

There will be two waves: runners and walkers. Walkers will line up behind the runners and will start 5 minutes after the first wave of runners. This is for the safety and happiness of all participants!

Runners and walkers of any age and/or ability are welcome to participate in the celebration of fun and fitness. To protect the safety of all participants, strollers, bicycles, rollerblades and skateboards are not permitted in any of our events, including the 5K.

Time requirements and age restrictions

There are no age restrictions for this event. All participants are required to finish the 5K in one hour and ten minutes (1:10).
