We include all participants in an age group category. We do not segregate the overall winners from the rest of the field. Therefore, it is possible for a participant to win an overall award as well as an age group award.

To be eligible for cash prizes and age group awards, participants must agree and adhere to our Anti-Doping Policy.

Results and decisions regarding disputes, award eligibility or fouls will be made by the race director. Decisions made by the race director are final.

Relay teams are only eligible for one award category. Therefore, it is not possible for a team to receive an award in both the open and masters division.

To be eligible for awards all teams must meet the following requirements:

  • The bib with the team timing chip must be passed between runners in the exchange zone only. Teams are only eligible for awards in the division that they register in.
  • Bib exchanges must take place in the exchange zones of each relay exchange.
  • Only 5 plaques will be mailed out. Non-participating team captains will not receive a plaque
  • An Open team MUST CONSIST of at least one member of each gender to qualify for awards.
  • All members of a Masters team must be 40 years of age or older on race day to qualify as Masters.
  • Awards are based on chip time, not clock time.
  • Teams must have a valid chip time. GPS data will not be accepted
  • Relay teams are subject to all rules listed on the race Rule of Fair Play page
  • Participants in the marathon relay are subject to the same USAFT rules as marathon and half marathon runners.

Failure to comply with the above items may result in a DNF and/or removal from results. Results and decisions regarding disputes, award eligibility or fouls will be made by the race director. Decisions made by the race director are final.
